Description	D-alpha-Isolupanine perchlorate is an organo-metallic compound that is a precursor to the plant hormone cytokinin. It has been shown to promote root formation in plants and can be used as a substitute for natural cytokinins. D-alpha-Isolupanine perchlorate stimulates the production of prodn, which is necessary for cell division, and promotes undifferentiated cells. D-alpha-Isolupanine perchlorate has been shown to have cytokinin activity when it binds to agrobacterium, but not in other organisms, such as animal or human cells.
