Catalog Number | ACM475832-3 |
CAS Number | 475-83-2 |
Description | Nuciferine is a natural compound that is found in the plant Nuxia floribunda. It has been shown to have an effect on energy metabolism and inflammatory response. Nuciferine was extracted from plants by means of the in vitro method. The optimum concentration for nuciferine was determined using a preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique. Nuciferine also inhibited cyclase activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). |
