Description | Sinapine bisulphate is a phenolic acid found in the seeds and leaves of plants, such as mustard and horseradish. It is used as a dietary supplement to provide constant sinapine levels in the body and relieve depression. Sinapine bisulphate is also used to maintain an acidic environment in the stomach by inhibiting hydrochloric acid secretion. The molecular structure of sinapine bisulphate is similar to that of sinalbin, which has been shown to have an effect on glucosinolates and amino acid composition. Sinapine bisulphate also contains a fluorescent compound that can be used for chemical analysis. |
