Description	Soladulcidine tetraoside is a natural drug that is extracted from the root of Solanum dulcamara. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines. Soladulcidine tetraoside also inhibits the transcriptional regulation of genes involved in steroidogenesis, which is important for treatment of autoimmune diseases and spirosolane-induced cervical cancer. This compound also has anti-microbial activity against microbial infections that are caused by bacteria or fungus. Soladulcidine tetraoside has been used as a traditional Chinese herb for treating bowel disease and hydroxyl group deficiency.
