Description | Dehydroevodiamine is a natural compound found in the Chinese herb Fructus Evodiae. It has been shown to have significant effects on systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as energy metabolism. It also has antimicrobial activity against bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. Dehydroevodiamine inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, which may help to alleviate symptoms of Alzheimer's disease and other autoimmune diseases. Dehydroevodiamine can also inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential, which may be beneficial for the treatment of cancer cells. |
